Regardless of how you want to fly, the Extra 300 offers you a premium flight experience with almost unlimited potential. After its debut in 1990, every single version of the Extra was groundbreaking and was also the model that won the FAI Overall World Cup in aerobatics in 2017. The E-flite ® Extra 300 1.3m proves that unlimited potential does not mean that the fun of aerobatics has to become a great challenge. With the AS3X ® and SAFE ® Select technology, this is the easiest-to-fly extra that has ever existed in this class.

The E-flite ®Extra 300 1.3m is a prototypical aerobatic model with unlimited potential. The fully foamed model impresses not only with its size and legendary appearance, but also with a bulletproof performance. Behind the lightweight EPO cell are reinforcements made of composite material, which not only make the model durable, but also give the necessary strength for precise aerobatics. Digital metal gear servos underline the longevity and allow the large control surfaces to deflect at extreme angles. The strong landing gear and large wheels make take-offs and landings from grass just as comfortable as from a paved runway. A powerful brushless motor with a bulletproof 60A controller works under the hood and the light wooden propeller delivers outstanding thrust and crisp reactions to gas commands. The number of parts is manageable and the model is ready to fly faster than it takes to charge the required 4S battery. Power in abundance
The brushless high-performance drive consists of a controller, motor and propeller, which, in combination with an economical 4S LiPo, deliver thrust in abundance and thus enable performance beyond those of the original. The lightweight 2-blade wooden propeller rounds off the range of services with an excellent balance between power and gas sensitivity.
Robust design
The chassis made of thick wire and the large wheels allow take-offs and landings from grass runways, but they disappear under fairings and cycling shoes so that the prototypical appearance is not disturbed. Composite reinforcements distributed throughout the cell offer the perfect combination of durability and strength for precise flight maneuvers and exciting aerobatics.
Realistic appearance
We have not only paid special attention to the lines of this model that are true to the original, we have also implemented other details such as smooth surfaces, highlighted lines where the original has sheet metal joints and maintenance flaps or the colorful color scheme with a high recognition value. The cockpit also scores with a closed canopy, indicated instrument panel and a painted pilot figure.

Do you already own a Spektrum ™ transmitter? Bind-N-Fly (BNF) planes allow you to get into the air faster than ever before. They are delivered with the drive system, servos and a Spektrum 2.4 GHz receiver installed. All you have to do is bind the receiver to a compatible transmitter, complete the final assembly and you're ready to fly!
This Bind-N-Fly Basic model is equipped with the exclusive AS3X ® and SAFE ® Select technologies. AS3X (Artificial Stabilization – 3-aXis) ensures behind the scenes that the influence of wind and turbulence is balanced out. The result is a stability and precision that gives you the feeling that you are piloting a larger and perfectly coordinated flight model.
If this is your first 3D model or if you simply want additional security while you are familiarizing yourself with the model, then you can activate the optional SAFE ® Select flight attitude limitation, which is already built into the receiver.
With SAFE Select activated, you get:
Transverse and longitudinal axes restriction
- In this mode, movement around the transverse and longitudinal axes is restricted and prevents the model from turning on its back. It also prevents too steep a climb or descent
Automatic alignment
- The model automatically returns to a normal horizontal flight position when the sticks are released. This feature is also helpful during take-off and landing to keep the planes level.
Easy switch assignment - no programming required.
- The process of assigning a switch on the transmitter to the SAFE Select function is very simple, does not require any programming and is done in a few seconds.
If you do not want to activate any SAFE Select features, then it is sufficient to bind the receiver normally and it works like a normal AS3X receiver.
